PASSION & FOCUS
*** BE PASSIONATE! ***
Life is meant to be lived passionately. Will we make mistakes? Sure, but sometimes even the mistakes can be passionately embraced! Look at Solomon, the son of an adulterous affair that included murder, or Paul, who passionately persecuted the same church he passionately embraced & proclaimed once his eyes were opened!
There’s even more hope for passionate coldness than for tepid lukewarmness—consider the church at Laodicea, whom God wanted to vomit up b/c of their lack of passion! (Revelation 3)
God gets passionate—He loves totally, hates totally, has a fierce jealousy for His Bride–& we’re made in His image, created to be passionate—about life, about love, about living! Jesus said, “I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly”—we might even paraphrase this and say, “that they might have it MORE PASSIONATELY”!
BE PASSIONATE—GOD IS!
PASSION WINS!
LEARN WHAT YOU LOVE; THEN LIVE IT!
